Paraffin Treatment for Soft Hands With Scentsy Wax

Merry Christmas and Happy New Years to you!! I'm sure you're in the midst of holiday parties and gatherings. That's a lot of handshaking and hugs going on. After attending a Christmas party with my Scentsy team and group members, I received a few new ideas that my fellow consultants use. No worries, this comes full circle.

So you have wax in your Scentsy warmer that no longer has a scent left. Happens all the time. Rather than throwing out that wax, try a paraffin wax treatment for your hands, feet or face. Scentsy uses paraffin in their bars so its a two for one deal! A great scent in your home and soft hands with the leftovers!

Just warm your leftover wax, dip your hands in, let wax harden, then rub or peel off the wax. Its that simple! You can warm the wax right in your Scentsy warmer, it won't get hot enough to burn you (another reason to love Scentsy). Then pour it into a dish that you can put your hand/foot in. Now go shake some hands- see, full circle people.

Shameless plug-- Try a full spa day with other Layers products by Scentsy. Wash and dry towels using Layers laundry products, make a sugar scrub with Layers shower gel, soak in the tub with Layers bath tablets, then use Layers body lotion or body butter for extra softness.

Scentsy Christmas Recipes

I've been MIA again :/ Sometimes life just bogs you down, you know? Still adjusting to life on my own, it's quite nice!! I've got some food recipes in the works so look out for those over the next few weeks. But today, some Scentsy recipes are on the agenda.

I finally got around to ordering my holiday scents. I know what you're thinking- yes I'm a consultant, but I don't keep stock on hand, just what I'm going to use. My favorite is Cozy Fireside and Clementine Clove (November Scent of the Month).  But I also found some new favorites when I mixed the scents. I like food smells, so of course Christmas cookies is my list topper.

To mix scents and make your own recipes, just put a cube of each scent in your warmer or 1/2 cube if using a plug in or you only want a hint of a certain scent. Let me know what your favorite scent combos are, you might just see them here our on my Facebook page.
